VA DECA State Action Team Program of Leadership 2023-2024

Engage

POL Goal 1: Increase member engagement by 20% in competition, community service, and district presidents by April 30th.

     Connect with district presidents & create an opportunity for more leadership roles

     Create a community service initiative that serves the Commonwealth of Virginia

     Prepare members for competition and career development

Communicate

POL Goal 2: Increase communication to chapter members by 20% by April 30th.

     Maintain an engaging social media presence

     Utilize multiple communication channels to connect with stakeholders

Advocate

POL Goal 3: Have 25 chapters advocate for CTE and DECA to stakeholders by April 30th.

     Empower chapters to build awareness for DECA and CTE within the community

     Educate members about advocating for CTE with state and local legislators
